Orochimaru is a fucking bastard. That’s what David growls when he hears the offer given to me.
Sonya was there. I don’t know which was worse; Orochimaru’s eager stare, or Sonya’s intense gaze during the silence before I said I’d think about it.
She says it was good I didn’t say no. Doing so would have risked us to punishment again.
I’m not sure I would have, even given better circumstances.
Both say that they knew I would have refused were we safe. Then they drag me off in search of food.
And they’re right. I’d have said no.
